Counseling Positions:
All counselor positions for 2010 have currently been filled. But we are in need of a male Counselor in Training.
Ideally available June 10-July 24, which includes training, camps and clean-up after camp. However, if available any of the weeks, please apply. Must be 18 years old and exhibit a growing faith, with a desire to make Christ known to campers and fellow staff and show grace and love in all situations. Counselors are the connecting link between campers and all other areas of camp. Training is essential. During camp, counselors are on duty 24 hours a day, with free time only when their assigned campers are in a supervised activity. Counselors will lead Bible study, counsel, help with programming and perform manual labor at times.
Other positions counselors may fill: staff nurse, music leader, crafts coordinator, kitchen staff, class instructor and lifeguard. Nurse applicant must have current CPR certification and some LPN medical or first responder training. Lifeguard applicant must have up-to-date certification. Music leader must have knowledge of music and a willing heart.
Room and board, $150-$200 per week stipend depending on experience.
