Counselor in Training:

Counselors in Training are support staff who may assist in cabins or in support of dining hall, maintenance and activities. Applicants should be 15-17 years old with a heart for service. Lodging and meals are provided Sunday evening through Friday afternoon; but CITs cannot stay at camp on week-ends without parents' request for special arrangements as the staff is not on duty.

Counselors in Training should have a vision to work as counselors in the future and be prepared to learn from current counselors and staff. Keep in mind it is a training position to prepare for a leadership position later on.

Candidates may request an application for this position by phone or e-mail. Training will be June 12-16, 2010 and is required.

After completing two or more weeks as a Counselor in Training, older teens may attend Cove Adventure, Soccer Camp, or Civil War Camp FREE as a camper.
